Your information, handled plainly.
The same rule that governs the systems I build governs this website: plain English, no surprises. Here is exactly what happens with your information. Last updated July 14, 2026.
What I collect
Only what you choose to give me: your name, business name, email, phone number, and whatever you write in a contact form or provide when booking a call. This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you around the internet.
Who processes it
Three service providers help run this site, and each only sees what it needs to do its job: Formspree delivers contact-form messages to my inbox, Calendly handles call scheduling, and Cloudflare hosts the site. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data in transit.
What I do with it
I use your information to reply to you, prepare for and hold our call, and do the work you ask me to do. I never sell your information, never share it with anyone else, and never add you to a marketing list without asking you first. The same applies to any business information you share with me during our work together - see The Standard on the home page.
How long I keep it
Messages and booking details stay in my business email and scheduling records for as long as they're useful for our conversation or engagement. If you'd like your information deleted, ask and I'll remove it.
Questions or requests
Write to Mike@theoperatingstandard.com and I'll take care of it personally, usually within one business day.
